Latin America leads the way in the GTFP

Latin America is now the most active region for the IFC Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP). In the early years of the scheme the region accounted for approximately 15%-20% of the programme’s total, with Africa coming out on top with 40% of the total business volume. This situation has now been reversed with Latin America accounting for 40% and sub-Saharan Africa and MENA each at 17%.
