The British Exporters Association (BExA) has launched a manifesto detailing a list of changes it wishes to see in the way that the UK government supports exports.

The British Exporters Association (BExA) has announced a manifesto detailing a list of changes it wishes to see in the way that the UK government supports exports.
Among the changes demanded include the creation of single UK trade body that will handle both exports and domestic business and a “reengineering” of the UK export credit agency, the ECGD, to make it more relevant to exporters.
BExA has demanded that the two national UK trade departments, BIS and UKTI, which handle domestic trade and exports respectively, should be merged to encourage better co-ordination.
